Data Security

We take the requirements of the Data Protection Act very seriously and our security far exceeds the government’s minimum recommendations.

All data is kept locked and secured in our offices, which are manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is encrypted and protected by stringent, fully documented procedures, tight physical and virtual access controls and regular backups.

Domain level security and absolute password integrity protect networked devices and associated data. No data storage devices may be removed from our offices and only authorised personnel may use external storage devices on site.

Our agents undergo routine screen monitoring. Agent IDs have no direct access to data tables, are not allowed to use removable storage devices and may not run unauthorised executables. In addition to these precautions, firewalls actively guard against intrusion.

Anonymous data such as basic call statistics is generally transmitted via email. We recommend that personalised information is delivered by secure methods, either SSL, SFTP, VPN drop or on a couriered CD.
